Tachi

The Tachi is an upcoming bot in Random Access Mayhem its sprite from the GOLEM ALPHA and GOLEM LD48 pictured above. Currently as of recent dev-streams and dev interactions this much is known:

• The bot is intended to be an "ambush predator" for level 2's darker atmosphere.
• Tachi's kit was as follows:
  • Deploy/Recall Saber Wing: The Tachi deploys the 3 sabers around it towards the mouse, hovering as a blockage against any enemy. Intended for use against enemies running into you.
  • Secret Technique: Clipped-Wing-Butterfly-Instant-Death-Blue-Screen-Crescent: The Tachi massively increases its speed and readies a strike, walking by any enemy will active this finisher and deal a massive amount of damage.
  • This kit is planned to be completely overhauled before Tachi's introduction to the demo.

Trivia

The original sprite for the Tachi/Saberbot.

• A Tachi is a sword traditionally used by ancient samurai, similar to a katana but longer and more curved (among other distinctions).
• The GOLEM ALPHA refers to Tachi by the codename Daedalus.
• The Tachi's other in-dev codenames are 3 Saber dude and Saberbot.
• At the end of the Random Access Mayhem demo, several Tachis appear and one of them uses an updated version of the CWBIDBSC to instantly kill the player
