Switchback

Switchback is one of the "easy" floors in Level 1, and as such can appear at any time, notably as one of the first two stages' smaller pool. It features:

• Eight enemy encounters
• Two upgrade sticks
• Either an Olympia Deadlift or Incognito Router will be present in the second to last encounter, and the final encounter will have a Hazard Steeltoe if the previous encounter had the Incognito Router.

Tips

• Backtracking to previous rooms is possible here, to prevent getting cornered or moving through enemies backtracking is always an option past the first encounter.
• Only the last two encounters are necessary to open the exit door, but skipping the first six encounters will mean you don't get the first upgrade.
