The Router

Mail carriers of the apocalypse, Router is a bot specializing in the speedy and forceful delivery of heavy packages with an explosive aftertaste to any bot impeding in the path of the box on wheels. Not even we know what's inside.

Router primary.png GRENADE: A hefty brick packed with as much nondescript explosive powder that the Router can find. Whether by carefully packing it, shaping the charge to use as a piercing javelin, or just flat out expressly delivering it, the Grenade's ability to be used as both a stunningly powerful source of blunt-force trauma and explosive damage allows Router to destroy any bot in its path.

Router special.png DRIFT: The Drift allows Router to temporarily curb its speed for an extremely tight shift in its speed and a complete invulnerability to all sources of damage for a short time frame. Whether used for whipping a vicious heater across the map or dodging a tight situation the Drift is a high-skill option in the Router's kit.

These Elites will award extra fitness points when defeated, and will retain their upgrade when swapped into(usually stacking its effect with upgrades already possessed). In the case that an Elite is spawned with multiple of these upgrades, the skin closer to the top of the table will take priority.

Trivia

The original sprite for the Router.
  • The Indev name for Router was Wheelbot.
  • The original moveset for Router was very different, its primary attack was a burst-rifle and its secondary was a teleport/dash that gave Router a short period of invincibility.
  • The Firewall and Incognito skins have slightly different body shapes, such as a wider wheel and a slightly different bottom wire shape.
  • While Router's other skins are referred to by the primary colour that makes them up (E.g. Firewall - red), the skin Incognito is referred to both by grey and by "stipess". This may be a misspelling of the word stripes, which this skin contains exclusively.
  • The Router's sprite when travelling backwards contains an internal transparent pixel at its lower body, which is present in all of Router's current skins. It is unclear if this is a mistake or intentional.
